I'm currently a Seeing Eye puppy-in-training. While many people use the term "Seeing Eye dog" to describe all guide dogs, it specifically refers to the dogs from The Seeing Eye in Morristown, New Jersey—the first and largest guide dog school in the U.S. It's similar to how "Kleenex" is often used to refer to all tissues.
